Intensivwoche Lehreinstieg

The Intensivwoche Lehreinstieg is a one-week program designed to support new lecturers at the University of Ulm in their teaching role. The program aims to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop their own teaching concept and to improve their teaching practice.

Program Description

The program consists of several workshops that cover various aspects of teaching, including didactic principles, e-learning, and communication. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own teaching practice, exchange ideas with other new lecturers, and receive feedback from experienced trainers.

Workshops

The program includes the following workshops:

• Fit f³r die Lehre 1 - Hochschuldidaktische Grundlagen: This two-day workshop covers the basics of didactic teaching and learning processes.
• Lehrsituationen mit E-Learning effektiv unterst³tzen: This workshop introduces participants to the e-learning infrastructure of the University of Ulm and provides them with the necessary tools to effectively support their teaching.
• Fit f³r die Lehre 2 - Ihre Rolle als Lehrperson: This workshop focuses on the role and tasks of lecturers and provides participants with the opportunity to reflect on their own teaching practice and to develop their own teaching concept.
• Prõsentieren in der Lehre: In this workshop, participants will learn how to effectively present their teaching content and will have the opportunity to practice their presentation skills.

Admission Criteria

To participate in the Intensivwoche Lehreinstieg, applicants must:

• Be employees of the University of Ulm
• Have little or no prior teaching experience
• Be interested in developing their teaching skills and reflecting on their own teaching practice

Application Procedure

Applications can be submitted through the University of Ulm's training portal. A waiting list will be maintained, and applicants will be informed about the status of their application after the deadline.

Important Notes

• The program will be held from September 22 to 26, 2025.
• The maximum number of participants is 14.
• The program will be conducted in German.
• Participants are expected to attend the entire program and to actively participate in all workshops.
